Tips for Sending Laser Cutting Files

Muthig Industries Inc. will generally accept almost any laser cutting file emailed or print sent to us via fax or mail. There are certain files that we prefer from our customers if possible. The following will illustrate certain criteria:

• dxf, dwg, Iges, files. If there is any doubt, please send a flat blank dxf file for your laser part.

• Please identify your part to be quoted (part name, part number etc.)

• Please identify quantity to be quoted and specific material to be used.

• It is always beneficial to make reference to any past history or problems associated with the part. Additional information would include:

• Estimated Annual Usage
• Preference where the start point is located on the outside profile
• Is a laser tab permissible?
